Μεταξύ αυτών που θα πουλήσουμε με συνοπτικές διαδικασίες [εάν δεν το έχουμε ήδη πράξει] είναι οι πάροχοι νερού. Οι λεγόμενες “ΔΕΥΑ” ή “ΕΥΑ”. Μας το επιβάλλουν, ισχυρίζονται οι δικοί μας, στο πλαίσιο των αποκρατικοποιήσεων [γνωστών και ως “πωλούνται τα ασημικά, όσο όσο”].
Είναι όμως έξυπνη κίνηση αυτή;
Μία έκθεση του “παρατηρητηρίου της εταιρικής ευρώπης” [corporate europe observatory] δείχνει ότι πόλεις που είχαν ιδιωτικοποιήσει την παροχή νερού, μετά από χρόνια κακοδιαχείρισης και άλλων προβλημάτων, προσανατολίζονται στην επαναγορά.
Μεταξύ αυτών των πόλεων είναι το Παρίσι, το Μπουένος Άιρες και το Χάμιλτον του Καναδά.
Μην ξεχνάμε ότι ακόμα, στον 21ο αιώνα, ο ΟΗΕ – σαφώς υπό το βάρος των εταιρειών που θα χάσουν τεράστια κέρδη – δεν έχει κατοχυρώσει την πρόσβαση στο πόσιμο νερό ως στοιχειώδες ανθρώπινο δικαίωμα.
Διαβάζοντας όλα αυτά πρέπει να προβληματιστούμε σοβαρότατα για τη σκοπιμότητα της πώλησης των δημοτικών επιχειρήσεων ύδρευσης & αποχέτευσης. Βλέπουμε ότι μας οδηγούν στο γκρεμό, κι εμείς, σαν παραζαλισμένοι, δεν αντιδρούμε.
Νομίζω είναι ώρα να κάνουμε κάτι. Αρχής γενόμενης με την άρνηση ιδιωτικοποίησης των εταιρειών παροχής νερού. Με κάθε μέσο.
