The appeal of Nikos Romanos for educational furloughs in order to attend his classes at a tertiary educational institution, has been overruled by the Council of the First Instance Court in Pireaus, on the 3d of December at noon.

The district attorney, Panayotis Kapsimalis, rejected the appeal, a decision accepted and accredited by three judges.

Nikos Romans, is on his 24th day of hunger strike and his doctors have announced that his life is in danger. Lina Vergopoulou, one of the doctors caring for him stated that ”heart or renal failure could happen any day now.”

Nikos himself, had previously stated in an announcement that in case his appeal is overruled, he is determined to continue the hunger strike until the end.
