Volunteers looked after injured refugee bleeding on the shore of Lesvos

Refugees arriving in Lesvos, photograph by Nicolas Georgiou

Volunteers are looking after people with injuries as there is no medical staff to provide its services to refugees upon arrival. These makes the work of volunteers ever harder than it already is. The following footage shows an Afghani refugee, who has a very deep cut on his leg that requires stiches, asking for a doctor. Fortunately volunteers were there to help.
